Bronze zgarda (ЗБ 01-55)

A national decoration «Zgarda» is an ancient amulet, it is popular and incredibly beautiful. Today, as in ancient times, the Hutsul craftsmen make zgardas under the home conditions, following the traditions of their ancestors.

The model of jewelry, presented on this page of the website, is made by the master-mosjazhnik Orest Oniskiv. Traditional metal – bronze is used during the manufacturing process. The crosses are cast of this metal. It is noticeably that every new adornment is original and unique, as it is handwork.    

The zgarda model «ЗБ 01-55» consists of one cross - the pre-Christian talisman, framed by polished artificial coral in the form of large beads of red color. The beads are separated between themselves with decorative metal elements.
