Hutsul woolen border (KShG 01-04)

traditional handmade woolen edging, made in bright red and white tones with splashes of black. It has a dense weave and a rich ornament of small geometric elements that alternate along the entire length of the product.

In folk symbolism, red color means strength, vital energy and protection, white - purity and prosperity, and black adds depth and contrast. At the ends of the edging are traditional tassels, harmoniously woven into the overall ornament.

This edging not only performs a decorative role, but is also an important element of the traditional Ukrainian outfit. It goes well with embroidered coats, fur coats, and is also used as a belt in festive and stage costumes. Thanks to natural wool, the edging is warm, pleasant to the touch and durable.
