Bronze ax 90х13 (ТБ 01-01)

Handcrafts cast of bronze have been made in the Hutsul region since ancient times. But today this tradition has not been lost, and the young masters, learning the experience of their ancestors, are renowned for the high skills of artistic carving.

The bronze ax has size 90х13 сm. The handcraft is cast of bronze, minted and engraved. There are Hutsul color patterns on the bronze blade. Handle (ax) is made of a very solid beech wood. The plate on the ax is made of brass, it is minted and engraving.

The Hutsul ax appeared with the arrival of people on the slopes of the Carpathians. Its dimensions make it possible to combine the functions of the ax and a stick. Modern ax is in addition to the Hutsul folk costume and a souvenir.
