Socks of wool 36-42 (ША 02-47)

These are traditional Hutsul kapchuri - knitted wool socks, which are part of the folk clothing of the inhabitants of the Carpathians, in particular the Hutsul region.

Description:

Material: natural wool, warm and durable.

Main color: red - a symbol of energy, strength and health.

Ornament: horizontal stripes with small wavy and dotted patterns in yellow, black, green and burgundy. These colors have symbolic meaning in Hutsul culture (for example, black - earth, yellow - sun, green - life).

Technique: hand knitting, possibly on five knitting needles or crochet, with a dense weave that retains heat well.
