Lizhnyks are often used as blankets with great pleasure, as they are not heavy, warm and soft. Sheep wool in them is the main material which is necessarily watered. Such technique of lizhnyk creating has been known for a long time, but nowadays Hutsul masters do not change the traditions and make these beautiful furry carpets only by hand on wooden looms, strictly observing the technological process.
