The production of lizhnyks in Transcarpathia is the prerogative of women who weave them on special looms using ancient technologies passed down from generation to generation. The material for the products is natural sheep wool, which is also produced here.

It should be noted that the lizhnyk “L 01-69” is unkempt woven in the pattern with longitudinal stripes in a combination of gray and white, and also has a wide blue frame around the perimeter. In the product, white color is the natural color of sheepskin, other colors are obtained by dyeing yarn with natural dyes. The decoration of the lizhnyk is a boucle pattern and a fringe along the edges, visually increasing its size.

This lizhnyk is unkempt, which means it has the widest application and is very wear-resistant. Therefore, the recommendations for its use are different: both as a floor covering, and as a wall mat, and as a blanket or bedspread, as well as a warm blanket for the winter. In addition, you can use the lizhnyk "L 01-69" in the form of a cape on an armchair or in a garden arbor, on a bench near the summer hearth.
