Carved plate (ТР 01-11)

Dry wood carving – the ancient craft of Hutsul masters, is famous throughout Ukraine and far beyond its borders and is considered to be one of the most virtuosic crafts. These products introduce diversity into the interior of the dwelling, inhaling an authentic national atmosphere into it. Carved plates decorate the shelves in your furniture set, suspended ceilings, and, of course, the walls as an indispensable item of décor. At the same time, they look wonderful in the compositions both, alone and complementing the interior of apartments and other premises.

Symbolics of the Carpathian Mountains as usual are presented in the dry wood carving, which came to us from ancient pagan times. For example, the carved plate «ТР 01-11» is made according to ancient technology of wood carving. Masters use those wood species, which are a lot of in the Carpathian Mountains. Pear or walnut wood, sycamore or cherry, as well as the apple trees are used for product manufacturing. Wood carving is carried out using a variety of incisors (they are used for the application of the ornament).
