Jewelry-box 28х13х11 (ШК 01-42)

The most mysterious and interesting subject in the ladies' table – of course, it is jewelry-box. Ukrainian jewelry-boxes have long been famous. Once they were unavailable items that could afford only a few representatives of a fine half of mankind – so called in Ukraine «pannochki» (the daughters of reach and honored people). Traditionally, small jewelry-boxes had fine carvings, encrustation of stones and other materials. However, nowadays the traditions of Ukrainian people are kept by masters, who make beautiful jewelry-boxes by hand. But today the cost of jewelry-boxes is not as high as before, and now it is not a problem to have a beautiful fashionable jewelry-box.

The jewelry-box model «ШК 01-42» can be used as storage of all that expensive things: securities, money, small souvenirs or jewelry. The box is made in the Hutsul region of the natural walnut wood. It is a valuable wood, which is quite often used for manufacturing of such items. Dry wood carving is applied on it. To make the color of the product, it is toned and varnished. Carved jewelry-box has the shape of a chest, on which carvings are applied from all sides. The top opens wide, there is velvet cloth at the bottom.
