Wall cross 23х12х2 (ХС 01-08)

The main symbol of the Christian faith is the cross, which is not that other as talisman in every home. The main room in the house is always decorated with it. There are no special rules about the tree of which a cross should be made, but since the masters of folk art are basically simple Hutsul peasants, they select a corresponding material. Nevertheless, handcrafts from the Carpathian masters are characterized by very thin, filigree work. Such crosses can be used in the church premises and in every residential building, where they are a symbol of faith and worship.

For the wall cross manufacturing masters use walnut wood, on which the beautiful carving is carried out. It is exclusively hand work. The dry Hutsul carving technique is used on this cross. The handcraft is covered with stain and furniture lacquer. The wall cross (23х12х2 сm) «ХС 01-08» is made of walnut wood, richly decorated with wood carvings, including a crucifix. It is very beautiful, delicate work.
