Carpathian coniferous honey is not quite a classic bee honey, but rather a syrup or honey infusion made using needles (fir, pine or juniper), sugar or natural honey. Its popularity is due not only to the pleasant aroma of the coniferous forest, but also to its powerful medicinal properties.
Composition (typical):
young shoots of pine or fir (sometimes with the addition of resin or essential oils), natural honey or sugar syrup, water, sometimes lemon or other citrus fruits.
Properties of coniferous honey:
Expectorant effect - helps well with bronchitis, cough, sore throat.
Antiseptic effect - fights bacteria in the upper respiratory tract.
Immunomodulatory effect - stimulates the body's natural defenses.
Vitamin support - rich in vitamin C and phytoncides from needles.
How to use:
1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day; added to warm tea, water, or even desserts. This honey can not only be consumed for colds, but also used as a preventive measure during the cold season.
